 Our Patio Installation Standards 

• Excavation: Proper depth based on ground type and load — typically 6–10 inches removed
   
• Base: Road-crush gravel installed in layers and compacted for maximum stability
   
• Screed Layer: Crushed Limestone bedding layer for paver alignment
   
• Pavers: Barkman or Belgard paving stones selected for strength, slip resistance, and color consistency
   
• Edge Restraints: Snap Edge or Concrete paver locking restraint, used to secure your pavers movement and spreading.
   
• Compaction: Final compaction locks pavers in place and ensures a uniform, level surface.
   
• Drainage: Patios graded to drain properly away from structures or sustain a water free surface on a freestanding spec.
   
• Jointing Sand: Polymeric sand swept and activated to reduce weeds and shifting.
   
• Finish: Clean lines, tight joints, custom borders, and optional upgrades (fireplace feature, multi-layer, steps, seating walls, steps, and more)
